Youth

“Jesus answered… Man does not live on bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of God.”

Matthew 4:4

Jesus made clear that the key to a healthy life isn’t just a balanced diet, exercise and plenty of sleep. Those things are great, but to be truly alive we all need to be taking in the invigorating words of God each and every day. At the same time, we can all be bombarded by so many different voices and from such a massive range of directions, that it can be tough working out who to really listen to.

Our youth group, called Faith Gen, aims to support and empower young people aged 11-16 as they navigate life. We want to give them an opportunity to hear God for themselves, and get to know His love and strength in a way that is real and personal to them. In the Bible we see time and time again that God loves to speak to and through young people – age really is no barrier to knowing Him.

Sunday Mornings

On Sunday mornings our time together is full of fun, with interactive Bible teaching that highlights how a relationship with God impacts, changes and sustains our lives.

We join with the rest of the Church in a time of worship, before stepping outside to enjoy our own sessions.

Sunday Night Small Group

Once a month we have a Sunday night gathering. It’s a chance to get to know each other better outside of a Sunday Morning; with short sessions of relevant teaching, games, prayer. If that doesn’t sound tempting enough then there’s often plenty of food too!

When: Second Sunday of the Month: 7pm – 9pm

Where: Please Contact the Church Office for Details
