You are Not Alone is a place where we can feel safe, supported, and encouraged by other people who are in the same boat as ourselves. Together we can speak freely about the bodily function that isn’t normally spoken about, listen to one another and hopefully even share advice on how to handle situations that can be really difficult. It’s also totally fine if you just need to have a moan to people who totally get it.
Having a stoma doesn’t mean that your way of life has ended, it’s just a different way of living. Whether you’ve had your stoma for a long time, or a little while, we want you to know that there is a kind, caring and friendly group so that you can know that you are not alone.
