Sew Do It!
Sew Do It is a free community event – we share sewing tips and skills in the company of friendly people… with a cuppa and some cake!
It’s held once a month on a Saturday morning from 11am to 1pm at the King’s offices in Moor Road. If you would like to sew, but don’t know where to begin, come along and have a go at something simple. This is not a formal sewing class, but we like to share knowledge and inspiration. Even if you don’t need any help with your project, come and enjoy sewing in a congenial atmosphere of like-minded people.
There is no charge for the morning, but if you’d like to make a donation we give it to Workaid (www.workaid.org) for refurbishing sewing machines which are sent out to Africa to enable widows and refugees to make a living.
For details on when we next meet, please call Clem on 01494 774719 or see what great things are happening at www.facebook.com/sew.do.it.
